SUR-KSHETRA LAUNCH
The renowned Pakistani singer Atif Aslam, India’s popular musician-singer Himesh Reshammiya and Bollywood’s big producer Boney Kapoor came together to launch the Sahara One’s new reality show ‘Sur-Kshetra’.
Auditions for the show will start from December 24. In India, auditions will be held in six cities and in Pakistan aspiring singers can give auditions from the three cities. The selected singing warriors from the auditioning cities of both the nations will assemble at ground zero. Himesh Reshammiya, will captain the Indian team of singers, while his counterpart singer-turned-actor from Pakistan, Atif Aslam will lead the team from across the border.
Commenting on this major launch for Sahara One, Boney Kapoor, also the Director of Sahara One Media and Entertainment Ltd said, “’Sur-Kshetra’ is Sahara One’s mega reality music show. Sahara One is growing consistently and is on track to reach the top five with plans drawn ahead to scale even greater heights. And to begin with what better than a show like Sur-Kshetra, with the best of singing talents from two arch-rival nations, India & Pakistan, competing against each other.”
